C3 Following Up

LMRID have set up a new method for assisting with following up C3 requests to the City. Residents can report the requests to the city through the C3 portal. Once the request is logged, please forward the C3 reference number and the details to C3@LMRID.CapeTown. The control room will follow up to ensure the request is carried out.

In the event of an emergency where an immediate response is required (e.g. burst water main, electricity outage) please still phone the control room, rather than emailing. This helps the control room be aware of the situation as the email address is only monitored during the day and repair teams often go to the control room when they do not know where the problem is located. The control room can also dispatch the patrollers to provide assistance if necessary.
